the HTML format. Windows 7 no longer supports the old help file
format. |

| A help file in the newer HTML format is now provided with Lightning/2000
v5.5. It was just discovered that Windows 7 users cannot access the
old help file because Microsoft no longer supports that format. |

Summary, to send commands to an external device (an alarm, for example). |
| If you have Lightning/2000 version 3 and the LD-250 hardware, and are
having problems getting the LD-250 to reliably communicate with
Lightning/2000, you need to update your L2K installation to
